WA Red Centre 2021
Black Dog Ride to the Red Centre aims to start a national conversation about depression and suicide prevention. Help us get the country talking and join us on this epic journey to the beautiful red centre of our great country.
Ride Registration
Registrations to ride all the way to Alice Springs with Black Dog Ride are strictly limited. Registrations close when all places are filled, or at 5pm AEST, 30th July 2021. Registration for the full Black Dog Ride, Red Centre 2021 includes:
- Entry and participation in the fully organised Ride
- Back up of a Support Vehicle en route to Alice Springs
- Commemorative Red Centre 2021, cloth patch, small round sticker and two large stickers
- Commemorative Red Centre 2021, lapel pin
- Commemorative Red Centre 2021, T Shirt
- Entry and participation in the rider reception, Friday 13th August (drinks not included)
- Entry and participation in the Alice Springs all states group ride, Saturday morning, 13th August
- Entry and participation in the Black Dog Ride, Red Centre 2021 celebration dinner, Saturday 14th August (drinks not included)

The ride itinerary and accommodation options are below, and will be updated on this page if there is any new information. We have negotiated accommodation deals in some places, Alice Springs in particular, for Black Dog Riders. Please make your booking soon to make sure you get in without any problems. When booking please make it clear to them that you are a Black Dog Rider to secure your discount. Booking in these places helps keep everyone together as well.

End of Ride Events
All Red Centre riders, pillions and support crew are invited to take part in the following three events.

Bike Transport
We have secured a deal with Bikes Only for the transport of motorbikes back to capital cities after the end of the Red Centre ride to Alice Springs. If you're interested in having your bike shipped back, here are the costs and booking details.

All bikes will be collected from Double Tree Hotel Alice from Sunday 15/8. Depending on the number of bikes booked there will be several trucks coming through however it won't all be on Sunday 15/8, therefore bikes can be left in carpark and keys with reception. Bookings are first in best dressed and will be closed 30th June 2021. Any bookings after this will be by arrangement.

A deposit of $50 is required upon booking which is refundable less administration fee of $38 at least 30 days prior to pickup. Final payment is required 2 weeks prior to pickup.
Ride Preparation
It is imperative that riders ensure their bike is registered, roadworthy, and in proper working order, ready for the significant distance ride ahead. It is also imperative that riders and pillion passengers are fit and well enough for the journey. Black Dog Ride does not take responsibility for these matters.
From February 2021 Black Dog Ride will be sending Rider Updates via email periodically in the lead-up to the ride. Please read these updates to become aware of the information contained in these updates prior to the ride start.
