Proudly Supporting Black Dog Ride
Last year the Cromwell Property Group Foundation donated $37,000 to Black Dog Ride which was gifted to The Kidman Centre to support their mental health research unit for young people. Cromwell also donated $12,000 to Black Dog Ride during our Top End 2018 project.
Recently, Black Dog Ride's A/Chair Jo-Anne Harrison was presented with $46,670.79 from the Cromwell Property Group Foundation.
These funds will assist our 10th Anniversary Around Australia Ride in July and August this year, where hundreds of Black Dog Riders with lived experience will circumnavigate the nation and saturate Australian regions with hope, awareness and knowledge around raise awareness of depression and suicide prevention.
Black Dog Ride's community health projects are amongst the largest of their kind in Australia that are organised by and involve people with lived experience of mental illness or suicidal ideation.
